Founder

Julian Collins is a solo developer in Ontario, Canada, who's been building on the web for fifteen years and recently moved into iOS. He built MetHere because he kept meeting the same faces at the same places and never quite knowing the names — a problem no contacts app, journal, or CRM was actually trying to solve. He wants it to feel like a friend's project: small, careful, and useful in the moments that other apps overlook.

Why MetHere exists

The bartender who starts your order before you sit down. The guy at the gym you've nodded at four times. The couple at the coffee shop on Sunday mornings. You know them. They don't belong in your phone. But they're not strangers either. MetHere is for the people in that gap — the ones the existing tools were never built for.

What MetHere is

MetHere is a social memory app: the space between "I've met you" and "you're in my phone." You save a person, pin where you met them, and the next time you walk past, your phone says who's there. Everything stays on the device. No account, no feed, no sync. It's built for bartender regulars, dog park parents, conference networking, and people building a social life from zero in a new city. Receipts, not metrics. The app doesn't tell you how social you are. It tells you who you know here.
