Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using MetHere (the App), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Description of the Service
MetHere is a local-first iOS application that allows users to save information about people, places, and related notes. User content is stored locally on the device. We do not operate a user account system or backend for personal content.
3. User Content
You are solely responsible for the information you enter into the App. You agree not to use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, deletion, operating system updates, or other technical issues.
4. Location-Based Features
MetHere may use precise and background location permissions to provide proximity-based reminders if you enable those features. You can disable location permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Purchases
MetHere may offer paid features through in-app purchases. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store.
- Current paid access is offered as a one-time Pro purchase.
- You can restore prior purchases in the app if needed.
- We do not store or process payment details.
6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Julian Collins. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Julian Collins shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of profits, arising from your use of the App.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
