Terms of Service
Plain version: it's your data, your device, your call. The legal version is below.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using MetHere (the App), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
2. What MetHere Is
MetHere is an iOS app for saving the people you meet and the places you met them. Your content stays on your device. There are no accounts and no automatic sync. The one exception is the optional Share feature: when you choose to share, the people you select are uploaded so the recipient can open your share link. See the Privacy Policy for details.
3. User Content
You are solely responsible for the information you enter into the App. You agree not to use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. We are not responsible for loss of data due to device failure, deletion, operating system updates, or other technical issues.
4. Location-Based Features
MetHere may use precise and background location permissions to send nearby alerts if you enable those features. You can disable location permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
5. Subscriptions and Purchases
MetHere offers the following paid options for Pro features:
- Monthly subscription: $3.99/month — subscription period: 1 month
- Annual subscription: $14.99/year — subscription period: 1 year
- Lifetime access: $29.99 one-time purchase (no subscription period, no auto-renewal)
All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and charged to your Apple ID account. We do not store or process your payment details. You can restore prior purchases in the app at any time.
Free Trial
Monthly and annual subscriptions include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your Apple ID account will be charged at the subscription price listed above.
Lifetime access does not include a free trial.
Auto-Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen package. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period. Refunds, if any, are at Apple's sole discretion through their App Store policies. If you cancel during a free trial, you will not be charged.
Family Sharing
All MetHere subscriptions and lifetime access are eligible for Family Sharing. The purchaser's family group members may access Pro features at no additional cost.
Price Changes
Prices are in USD and may vary by region. We may change subscription prices from time to time. For minor price changes, the new price takes effect at the start of the next billing period following notice. For material price increases, Apple will require your explicit consent before the new price applies — if you do not consent, your subscription will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period.

6. Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, branding, and software, is owned by Julian Collins. You may not copy, distribute, or reverse engineer the App except as permitted by law.
7. No Warranty
The App is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Julian Collins shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or loss of profits, arising from your use of the App.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue features at any time.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If you keep using the App after an update, that means you accept the new version.
